MLK Day Event Shopping List
In this activity, students will learn about basic circuits using LEDs. We will talk about how and why LEDs have replaced conventional light bulbs, and also make our very own LED bracelets that students can take home with them. This is a short, and fun activity.
Material Shopping List:
2 Sets of Lithium 3V batteries (for 150 students)
3 sets of fabric squares (for 150 students)
1 LED kit
25 yards of ribbon for the bracelet (for 150 students)
Colorful duct tape (0.5” per student)
Total Cost: $98 (Removing the duct tape saves $10)
